Support Greenland at Future Greenland 2026
For the 10th time, business leaders, politicians, and international stakeholders gathered for the most important business conference in the North Atlantic. Support Greenland attended Future Greenland in Nuuk, May 19–20.
This year’s theme, “The Future is Greenland,” focused on Greenland’s role and opportunities in what many describe as the Arctic decade.
With around 500 participants from 17 countries, the conference provided a unique opportunity to engage with many of the people helping shape Greenland’s future.
“The conference motto, Nothing about us – without us, aligns closely with everything Support Greenland stands for: the belief that Greenland’s future belongs to Greenlanders, and that respect for the right to self-determination must be defended – not only in Nuuk, but by an international movement that extends far beyond Greenland’s borders.”
One of the memorable moments was meeting Vivian Motzfeldt, former Naalakkersuisoq for Foreign Affairs and now a member of Inatsisartut.
